I went to the Waukegan Airport with my family. It was very, very big outside with a very big building. The inside has a lot of elevators, escalators and people. We went at 5:00 in the morning and there was a lot of people. I went to drop my dad off when he was going to Mexico and I also went back to pick him up.He went to Mexico to visit his Mom, Dad, Uncle and Aunt. He flew on a Five-Star Airplane. It was red with a white door. We waved goodbye to him as he flew away. He came back in a week.
Waukegan Airport also has a great Airshow in September. We went last year and it was really cool. This year it is on September 11th. You see all kinds of planes and they do cool tricks. Try to go and see the show you will have a good time.
Waukegan Airport is a neat place to see, try to make it out for the airshow.
