The Antioch Pool is a fun place to swim in Antioch, Illinois. It's a great place to go because it's small but very fun. You can go down the slide and go off the diving board. They even sell snacks for a low price. It is a great place to go to have fun.When you first walk in it looks kind of small. However, it's really fun. It's rectangular and looks soft on the bottom. It seems old-fashion too. There is a small slide and a diving board. They used to have a high dive but they took it out. The staff keeps it pretty clean.
You have a lot of fun there but the main reason you go there is to swim, of course. We play swim-tag, which is like tag in the water. Another fun thing we do is swim races. I like to dive and flip off the diving board. My brother does the can opener and pencil dive.
There is also a snackbar. You can buy food for a low price. All you need are a few quarters. They have candy bars like Kit Kats, Milky Ways, Air Heads and more. I like the chocolate. They also have popsicles. I bite them first before I eat them cause I like them slurpy.
I think when it gets warm you should go and swim there. You can enjoy diving and eating too. But the best part of the pool is it is not crowded and you can always find a seat. The Antioch Pool is fun and I know you will like it.
