The Antioch Pool by: Samantha G. from the W.C. Petty Elementary School in Antioch
 The Antioch Pool is a fun place to swim in Antioch, Illinois. It's a great place to go because it's small but very fun. You can go down the slide and go off the diving board. They even sell snacks for a low price. It is a great place to go to have fun.
When you first walk in it looks kind of small. However, it's really fun. It's rectangular and looks soft on the bottom. It seems old-fashion too. There is a small slide and a diving board. They used to have a high dive but they took it out. The staff keeps it pretty clean.
You have a lot of fun there but the main reason you go there is to swim, of course. We play swim-tag, which is like tag in the water. Another fun thing we do is swim races. I like to dive and flip off the diving board. My brother does the can opener and pencil dive.
There is also a snackbar. You can buy food for a low price. All you need are a few quarters. They have candy bars like Kit Kats, Milky Ways, Air Heads and more. I like the chocolate. They also have popsicles. I bite them first before I eat them cause I like them slurpy.
I think when it gets warm you should go and swim there. You can enjoy diving and eating too. But the best part of the pool is it is not crowded and you can always find a seat. The Antioch Pool is fun and I know you will like it.

Six Flags Great America by: Mina at the W.C. Petty Elementary School in Antioch
 I like Six Flags! My favorite ride is the triple-play. Once you are in the rides are free and I think that is cool. I went with my dad while my mom stayed at home with my little brother. Dad and I watched a movie there. After that we went on a few rides. The Condor was a little fun, but the Lobster was a little more fun, but the American Eagle was really fun. Then we went on the Triple Play. It starts off spinning in circles, then the seats start to spin. We started to go up and down, then before we knew it we were spinning, the seats were spinning and we were going up and down at the same time. It was a lot of fun and I hope I can go back this year as it is opening soon.

The Antioch skate park is Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! by Katrina P. from W.C. Petty Elementary School in Antioch
The Antioch skate park is awesome because you can do awesome tricks and cool stuff. You can watch trains go by. You can stand on your pegs and ride around on your bike and on your skateboard. It looks like a bunch of ramps connected to each other and people riding around.
You should go because you don't have to pay and you can do whatever you want.

 Hey, welcome to Antioch! You should come here and go to J.J. Blinkers. They have everything to scare someone on Halloween night. They have other stuff too. If you need funny gifts or funny cards this is your place.
Just come on down and see what this store has. It has customers, toys and stuff for Halloween. They have scary faces to hang or ghosts. You can even get stuff for your costumes. I've been to J.J. Blinkers, it's so cool in there.
You should stop in to check out the costumes from J.J. Blinkers!!
