Bill's Pub by: David M. Oak Grove School

You have got to Bills Pub. They have the most amazing pizza ever. I went there my seven year old brother and my mom and dad. They give you a bowl of peanuts on your table and you can throw the shells on the ground. Bills Pub is located in Mundelein and Grayslake. They have a space with about six arcade games that you can play while you wait. They have animal heads hanging on all four walls. Bills Pub has a variety of pop and other things on the menu. You better tell your mom to take you there or else you’ll be missing out on some of the best pizza in town!

What I Like About Gurnee by: Tiara A. Woodland Intermediate School

I live in Gurnee, Illinois. It was listed as one of the top 10 destinations in the United States. There are many fantastic places to visit and things to do. For example, people can enjoy rides, games and food at Six Flags. People who like water parks, would love to visit Key Lime Cove because it has all sorts of water slides. Gurnee Mills is also a great attraction because it is full of a variety of stores. In Gurnee, there are a lot of well known restaurants, for example, Potbelly's, T.G.I.F, Olive Garden, Max and Erma's, Uno's Pizza, and many more.

Many different people live in Gurnee. In fact, some of the players for the Chicago Bears live in Gurnee. Devin Hester, used to live a couple of houses away from me, but he just recently moved and put his house up for rent.

The schools in Gurnee are great! I attend Woodland Intermediate and it is located right next to the Gurnee Village Church, and across the street is another shopping center, which has Jewel Osco and Ulta store is next to it. Plus if you go down the road you will find Best Buy, Office Max, Target, Game Stop and many more stores.

As I said earlier, there are many places to go, things to see and do. It is also very easy to find these places. If you are going to Key Lime Cove, you just get off the highway and turn right and it will be on the left. If you are going to Six Flags from Key Lime Cove, you should turn left and drive down Grand Avenue and it will be on your right. If you going to Gurnee Mills from Six Flags, you should turn left on Grand and drive for about two to three minutes and it will be on the right.

Well, as you can see, there are many amazing places you can visit and see in Gurnee. "I hope you have fun and visit more often!"

Rinkside by: Beau H. Oak Grove School

Can you believe that Rinkside, in Gurnee Mills has an ice rink and an arcade? Plus the arcade has an amusement park ride and laser tag (although you can only play laser tag if in a party). The rink has skate rental, hockey and figure skating lessons, and open skate. You can get tickets for playing well in games and get to spend them on prizes like candy, pennants, disco, and more. You can play mini-golf also. If I were you I would get off this computer and hustle over to Rinkside!!!

Lincolnshire Marriott Resort by: Kyle M. Oak Grove School

The Lincolnshire Resort is SUPERFANTASTIC. It has great rooms and beautiful bathrooms. The third floor is great because all of the rooms are NO smoking rooms and the nicest rooms in the whole Marriott. There are great comfy beds and mini refrigerators that actually work. The good thing is that you get a leather ice holder and get ice for free. The internet is also free and it has a hook up Ethernet cord. The TV is behind a set of opening doors. The TV also has video in. The rooms come with a coffee pot and coffee and you don't have to pay to use it. If I could I would rate it one thousand stars. OH, and don't forget to visit the superb pool, (water is always warm), arcade, awesome games, and hot tub/whirlpool (very, very relaxing). Pool hours are 6am-11pm. Finish your day off with a very good buffet. Your choice of delicious food is endless. ENJOY

What I Like About Gurnee by: Nathan Woodland Elementary School

I live in Gurnee, IL. There are many fun places you can visit in Gurnee. One of the best places is Six Flags because they got the Raging Bull and Batman. Another great thing is they have a Menards down the street from Applebee's. At Menards you can find insulation, pipes and hardware needs.

A place for shopping is Gurnee Mills. They have a movie theatre but when you are in the mall you have to go outside and walk around for a minute. A neat thing is that they have a marry-go-round by the food court. Past the marry-go-round is RinkSide Sports, where you can play laser tag and play games for prizes.

Six Flags has a water park called Hurricane Harbor. They have a wave pool, several slides, and a little kid's area. My favorite is the tornado but when you are facing forward you see the drop and it's scary.

You should come to Gurnee because there are more places and 45 min. from the "Windy City".
