Libertyville Theatre by: Brian H. Oak Grove School

Come!!! Come and watch movies at the Libertyville theatre! While you are there you can get popcorn and candy like sour worms and jellybeans. One adult cost three dollars and a child is two dollars. Ushers walk up the aisle and give you free refills for popcorn and pop. Before the movie starts they ask you trivia questions and if you get them right you can get a free movie ticket. I hope to see you there!

Kroll's Farm by: Ryan K. Oak Grove School
Sch sch sch that is the sound of the corn being brushed of the hands of little kids, My friend Beau and I went to Kroll`s Farm to do a corn maze. You wouldn’t believe how confusing it was! I think this was a fun place because you can buy pumpkins, pet animals and try the corn maze. Beau and I went a couple of weeks before Halloween. We went to get pumpkins and go through the corn maze. There were these questions to answer. Beau and I had to remember the answers. If you did you could win a pumpkin.
After the corn maze we moved to the petting zoo. Beau and I saw that they were selling pet rabbits. Then we moved on to picking pumpkins and Beau’s Mom was so nice that she let me have a pumpkin. This is a fun, fun place to go for family time.

Lake Minear by: Katie C. Oak Grove School

Lake Minear isn’t just like any lake. When I go with my family we always bring beach stuff. The shallow part of the water is separated from the deep end. The deep part has a raft in the middle to jump off of! They even put a barrel at the bottom and if you see it you can bring it up! Be careful! They say there’s a snapping turtle living in the lake, although I’ve never seen it. Back on the sandy shore, there’s a park and a snack stand with lots of treats and lunch foods. Sometimes, they even have parties and big carnival events! So be sure to get a ten-day pass and get ready to get wet in Libertyville’s best place to swim!

Adler Pool by: Gabe C. Oak Grove School

Splash, splash, splash ! That’s the sound of kids having fun. Adler pool is one of the hot spots during the summer, located in Libertyville. The pools are a decent size. The slides are one of the best parts. I went to Adler Pool with my family during the summer. They have swimming lessons if you don’t know how to swim. Adler pool has a snack bar with chocolate bananas and other sweets. Also if you want to play volleyball there is a sand volleyball court. Adler pool has everything for kids to have fun!
