Have you been to Antioch? I live there and it's a really exciting town. Here I'll tell you about one of the places in Antioch. Best Pets is a pet shop in our town. They have the cutest little hamsters but watch out they Bite! They also have puppies, kittens, birds, fish and ferrets. They also have supplies and books if you plan on getting your first pet.

Have you ever been to Antioch? If not, you should visit and come hungry. One place to go is Grande Jakes. Grande Jakes is a Mexican restaurant. I like their nachos. They also have a lot of other food to choose from.

You should come to Antioch and see all the restaurants and shops.

Antioch Movie Theater by: Alicia G., W.C. Petty Elementary School in Antioch

I like the Antioch Movie Theater because before you see the movie they ask you about other movies and if you get the answer right you get a prize. They show all of the movies but at different days and times. They show movies like The Legend of the Guardians.

When you want to sit you get to choose the top half or the bottom. The top will be a better place to sit because in the front row on the top nobody's head is in your way. It is the same way when your on the bottom. That is why I like the Antioch Movie Theater.

Did you know that the origin of the word Antioch is Turkish, and comes from the ancient cities of the Bible? I'm going to tell you a little story about the little town I live in, right here. Here are a few things I REALLY love about Antioch!

Antioch is like the Krusty Krab of Illinois. Everyone loves this suburban one-of-a-kind town. My Favorite sandwich shop in Antioch, I must say, is Big Bites. Located near Jewel, this restaurant serves my favorite foot long hot dogs, juicy cheeseburgers, great sandwiches, and spectacular milkshakes. It's a real treat to go to Big Bites because they serve delicious food and I don't get to to there that often. Now isn't your stomach rumbling at just the thought of it?

Have you ever been to Antioch? I live there and I like looking at the Hiram Buttrick Saw Mill. I like looking at it because it is a beautiful place and is one of the most scenic sights in Lake County. You can hear the water rush and sit in the shade under some trees. If you go to Antioch you need to see the Saw Mill.

If you like pizza then I have a place for you. My favorite pizza place in Antioch is Antioch Pizza Shop. It has cheese, sausage, pepperoni and many more kinds of pizzas. It also has Coke, Diet Coke, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper and much more. It's my favorite pizza place in Antioch. You should go there some time.

Did you know Antioch is my home town? Let me tell you about the amazing town of Antioch! Here is a cool place in Antioch that is my favorite.

One of my favorite places in Antioch is Still Larry's. On a corner of a building next to Antioch Post Office and Piggly Wiggly. When go in, you look at the menu and think, "There's so many choices, what should I get?" There are doughnuts, ice cream, coffee, and hot chocolate. I want to go there every morning to get doughnuts and a cup of hot chocolate. In the summer I would sometimes get ice cream as a treat. Reading that makes you starving doesn't it?

Kelly's Cupcakes by: Gia M., W.C. Petty Elementary in Antioch

Hi I'm Gia and I live in Antioch. Antioch is a very fun town. But one of the best places is Kelly's Cupcakes. Kelly's Cupcakes are one of the best places because they have almost every kind of cupcake you can think of. Also, the cupcakes have very fun names. My parents bought cupcakes at Kelly's Cupcakes for their wedding rehearsal and they were tasty! Everyone loved them! The name was Chocolate Velvet.

Also, there is another place in Antioch called the Band Shell. The Band Shell is fun! (Only when there is music but also a good sledding place.) The Band Shell is where people play music and alot of picnics are there too! Well I hope you go see the fun places in Antioch!
