What I Like About Gurnee by: Tiara A. Woodland Intermediate School

I live in Gurnee, Illinois. It was listed as one of the top 10 destinations in the United States. There are many fantastic places to visit and things to do. For example, people can enjoy rides, games and food at Six Flags. People who like water parks, would love to visit Key Lime Cove because it has all sorts of water slides. Gurnee Mills is also a great attraction because it is full of a variety of stores. In Gurnee, there are a lot of well known restaurants, for example, Potbelly's, T.G.I.F, Olive Garden, Max and Erma's, Uno's Pizza, and many more.

Many different people live in Gurnee. In fact, some of the players for the Chicago Bears live in Gurnee. Devin Hester, used to live a couple of houses away from me, but he just recently moved and put his house up for rent.

The schools in Gurnee are great! I attend Woodland Intermediate and it is located right next to the Gurnee Village Church, and across the street is another shopping center, which has Jewel Osco and Ulta store is next to it. Plus if you go down the road you will find Best Buy, Office Max, Target, Game Stop and many more stores.

As I said earlier, there are many places to go, things to see and do. It is also very easy to find these places. If you are going to Key Lime Cove, you just get off the highway and turn right and it will be on the left. If you are going to Six Flags from Key Lime Cove, you should turn left and drive down Grand Avenue and it will be on your right. If you going to Gurnee Mills from Six Flags, you should turn left on Grand and drive for about two to three minutes and it will be on the right.

Well, as you can see, there are many amazing places you can visit and see in Gurnee. "I hope you have fun and visit more often!"
