You have to visit Six Flags Great America. First of all, it is fun. You can play a lot of fantastic games. You can also visit the haunted house in October and you can get candy. Also in the summer they open a water park. There are a lot of slides at the water park. We can't wait for you to visit Six Flags Great America located in Gurnee in beautiful Lake County.

Do you hear the waves gently lapping at the shore? Soft white sand is parting beneath your toes. Do you like the beach? Then Diamond Lake is the place for you!

First of all, you don't just swim at Diamond Lake. You can rent a boat for a day or go speeding on your rented jet skis! Tired of water now? Luck's good! There are playgrounds around, along with refreshments like ice cream and hot dogs. Diamond Lake is a wonderful place to have fun and relaxation!

Diamond Lake is in Mundelein, Illinois, right in Lake County! Go for a visit today!

What I like about Gurnee by: Willow B. at Woodland Elementary School

I live in Gurnee, Illinois. If you want to go somewhere fantastic, you can go to Six Flags Great America, Gurnee Mills or KeyLime Cove. If you’re looking for great food you can to Kaisers, Culvers, Sukasa, Chipotle, and Golden Corral.

If you go to Six Flags you can to in entrances. One of the entrances is on Washington St. I suggest going on the Washington St. entrance because the other 2 entrances are normally very crowded. If you go on a hot summer day, I also suggest getting there early so you can one of the first people to get WET!!!!! If you go from October 21 or something Fright Fest starts. But yeah there are lots of fun things to do at Six Flags.

Another 2 places you can go are Gurnee Mills and KeyLime Cove. Gurnee Mills probably has about 250 stores. Gurnee Mills also has a lot of places to get food. KeyLime Cove has lots of rooms for people who want to stay for a few days. KeyLime Cove even has a water park inside.

For great food you can go to Kaisers, which is just about a half a mile from Jewel Osco. You can go to Culvers to get what you want. If you get a kids meal, you can get free ice cream with one topping. You also can go to Sukasa even though that’s about 25 min away from Gurnee, but it is worth it because they cook Japanese food right in front of you. And finally you can go to Golden Corral. At Golden Corral you can go and get what ever you want.

So these are some places you can go while you are in Gurnee, Illinois.
